Meet Ada Lilly

Rolling in at 9 lbs 5 oz, 20 1/2 inches!
Born Saturday, Sept 19

Lindsay's water broke late friday night. She rushed to the hospital, and the dr started the pitocin/epidural combo. She was in labor all night and delivered Ada somewhere around 10 am EST Saturday morning. She has been told by everyone her whole pregnancy how little she is, and most recently the Dr thought she was measuring a little small... clearly not the case. She has lots of dark curly hair, and can barely fit in the newborn diapers. Mom, Dad and baby are all pretty sleep deprived, but in love. I am jealous of all of you Floridians that get to see sweet Ada! I am positive linds will have more details and pics as soon as she checks out tomorrow, so until then here is a sweet wink from the newest Foley!

enjoy!
Julie (aka lindsay's sister)

oops. That wasn't Ashley- it was me, Stasia. I didn't realize that my sis-in-law had changed it. :)

For those of you who checked the box to get email responses, I just posted more photos! I didn't get her curly hair yet, b/c it hadn't been cleaned up yet. I can't WAIT to see her again though!

We will hopefully get some pictures up tomorrow with Ada's head of hair in its full glory. And we might even get a short video in, too. But that might be pushin it.

Ada's beautiful, has a cute little girly cry, and can't seem to get enough to eat.

And Lindsay and I are figuring out how to prop our arms up while we hold her. It would have been nice to build up to holding a 9 pounder over a few weeks, but we wouldn't want her any other way.

We'll keep you posted.

That's great Scott. I think it's hilarious how solid and big she is! THat's great to have a good eater though. Emmy didn't start off eating great and there were lots of tears from her and me!

Grandpa Foley is smiling from ear to ear. So happy for another granddaughter. Lots of love for Lindsay and what she put herself through to get Ada here. And so very proud of Scott as the newest Foley daddy! He does look like a natural.
