Something I Made

So, I am not much the crafty person, not at all, actually. I have been wanting to add something to Ada's room that I did not have to spend too much money on and found this.
I thought these flowers were so adorable and thought they would add a nice little touch to Ada's room. I love how they turned out, however, you have not seen the other wall. It is HUGE and bare. I really think we need some color BUT I don't want to spend money on paint, just to leave less than a year later. And not to mention we have to pay to paint it back to white. So, I am debating making one or two more flowers and filling up the other wall with them and taking these two down and putting a picture up instead. Thoughts?

I LOVE the flowers. What about the brown and pink wall hanging that you have above the crib--did you make that too? I love your choice of colors. I'd say one more flower like these, maybe a smaller one?, on the opposite wall would be a nice finish. You could surround that with a couple of small photos too.

very cute linds! Another idea for the blank wall is to hang these homemade pom poms. I've been thinking about making some for Saige's room.

I LOVE them!!! They are Darling!!! Have you thought of doing an arrangement with your other little picture above the crib so that's what you see when you walk into the room? Who said you weren't Crafty??? Three's usually work very well together. You might want to make one more smaller one and do a threesome over the crib. Just a thot. I also like the idea of a picture grouping as well. You did GREAT!!!

Adorable flowers linds! I had no idea you've posted 3 times since I've checked last. It was such a treat having 3 posts to read. Ada is so cute and so steady on her feet. MaryKate is much more wobbly when she stands or takes steps. I loved the wet rain pic of you and scott... what is it about the rain that is so fun!?

SO cute. I have no thoughts about the big wall.

I think the flowers are great and it would look nice to have more flowers trailing across the other wall. If you do add more, take closer pictures. I can't tell if the flowers are 3-D or if that's the effect they give. Very nice!

the flowers look SO cute there, but if you have to do something with the blank wall,i think that sounds like a great idea (making a couple more for the other wall.) love it. those ARE so cute! i would like to take a stab at it. did you trace anything? how did you do it all? a picture or a cute magnet board with pictures of ada might be cute where you have those flower.

You ARE crafty! Those are adorable! Vinyl is always pretty inexpensive and a great way to add color and personality to a room. We just painted Em's new room and I'm trying to get ideas for what to put up on the wall now. Don't be surprised if I steal your flower idea!

Thanks for the tips everyone! I am excited to make a couple more. I think that I will use them for the other wall and put something else on the original. Kelsey, the flowers are 3-D. They are made out of scrapbook paper. Super easy to make. Abbey, I posted the link on the post. Let me know if you just want me to send it to ya!
