So, I can't take credit for this fun activity. As you can see our mattress is in our living room. Awhile back my friend Lori told me that she and her husband had a sleepover in their family room. They took a mattress, brought it into the family room, and watched a movie.
So, Scott and I went to the dollar theater Friday Night, with high hopes to see National Treasure II, but, since it was Friday night, the showing was at 7:30, AND it only costs $1.50 (Guess I really shouldnt call it the dollar theater anymore), the movie was sold out. So, since he refuses to watch 27 Dresses, we agreed on Spiderwick Chronicles. I actually really ended up enjoying the movie. We were not satisfied with it only being 9 at night when the movie was over, so, we decided to watch another movie, but we would rent it from the RedBox (the most awesome invention). So, we rented License to Wed (yes, a little cheesy and very much a chickflick), bought some really good ice cream and went home. We pulled our mattress off the bed (I swear...that thing is HEAVY), and it barely fit into our family room. We kind of had to shove it down in front of the couch. This was the first and only time we will be aloud to eat in bed, but we popped some popcorn, ate some ice cream, and watched a cheesy, somewhat irritating movie. Fun times!

Oh, c'mon Scott, 27 Dresses is totally cute.
you guys are cute.
I don't think Joe would be game for moving the mattress out. He's a party pooper that way.
And that is why I LOVE haveing a love sac! Everytime we watch a movie, we just pull that baby over in front of the movie and we a relaxed and comfy while watching our movie! And we don't have to move the mattress to do it! haha! But if you don't have the love sac...then the mattress is a great idea! :o)
and I can't type correctly: haveing should be 'having'. :o)
wait till you start making forts for sleepovers! I want a cinnamon roll!
Lindsay, Craig and I used to take our matress into our living room every weekend and watch movies, before we had kids. It's still a memory we talk about 7 years later. I do miss young love.
Love it- we made a fort with all the blankets in our house one weekend and it was a ball! (but a mess!) Now we have a California King and there is no moving that mattress!!
Wow, i haven't been on your blog in awhile, lots of fun new posts. I am feeling like a cinnamon roll party now...too bad I don't have a metabolisim anymore. Congrats on law school acceptances. My cousin and her husband are at temple for dental school. They enjoy it, lots to see. I would definately do east coast!
