It's the Final Countdown...

So to-date, I am 37 weeks and one day! We took these pictures yesterday right after working out so don't mind the sweat!!
Anyway, from behind there has not been much change from what others may say but I do not need to go into detail of all the changes I have experienced! :).
I swear, I have grown so much in the last couple of weeks. I just had my 37 week check up on Thursday and so far I have gained 30 pounds! Yikes!! The number on the scale is a number that I have never seen before...oh well. Everything is looking good. The baby has a strong heartbeat and is measuring right on!

Okay, really, the next prego pictures that I post, I will make sure that I am showered! I promise that I have not "let myself go" not yet anyway!! :) You can see how large and in charge that I have become. I am having a harder time getting in and out of the car, and breathing gets difficult at times. But overall, I feel so lucky to have had such an easy pregnancy.

Yeah...cleaned and showered. This was taken a little later that day! I was just sitting there and enjoying a bowl of cereal and Scott thought I looked extra prego and wanted to get a few pictures of it. I never thought I would be able to rest a bowl on my stomach while I ate. It makes quite the nice table.
I only thought it to be fair to get a picture of my cute husband as well. This is what a father-to-be looks like.

The crib and bedding. We have not hung the pictures yet, but I wanted to post some pictures of our purchases! I love the crib (thanks again Gary and Vivian) and the bedding is perfect for us. We found a great deal and decided to get the whole set. We had a heck of a time getting the crib home to our place. We had it shipped to my office (cause Scott was going to be out of town) and had a really hard time fitting it into our car. In fact, Scott had to hold the door shut on our drive home from my work cause we could not shut it all the way.
This is a little crooked but here is an idea of what the sheets look like. We will be hanging up the two pictures, but I think that I want to paint first. We have been back and forth about it, but I think that the room will look so much better!

Well, I am sure that I will get a few more posts in before baby comes. We are not set on a name. I get the "name" question daily, but there are 3 that we are deciding between. Who knows, maybe there will be more by the time she arrives! So many peeps say that we will just "know" when we see her. I might have to disagree a little. I think what it will come down to is what we like the best!! I have a hard time with the statement "You will just know." Anyway, we are getting excited!! I am not necessarily excited about the upcoming pain and complete "exposure" to a lot of different people all at once..but, that is all part of the game, right!?
I am definately getting drugs..aka Epidural. I am too much of a wimp not to. I have not researched other alternatives because I know that I want the drugs!!
I am starting to swell in my legs, feet, and hands, but not terribly. I no longer can wear my wedding ring and have little fake bands on instead. Bed time is almost a chore now because I have to position the pillows just right and find just the right sleep position to be able to be comfortable. BUT....that is okay!! It will all be worth it in the end!

PS...did you get any sweet 80's song stuck in your head when you read the title? Just wondering!!

You are just 6 days behind us! I cannot believe you are still working out- I can barely lift my kids and change diapers these days. You look fabulous! Any day now! Can't wait to hear what you name her! I hear yah on the pillow thing- there is such an art to arranging pillows when you are pregnant! Good luck!

You're so cute! I can't believe how good you look, especially from behind. I seriously get so wide you can't even tell the difference between my shoulders and my bum. It's awful. Good luck in the coming weeks! You'll be so glad to get that baby out. I hate all the pillow arranging at night.

Also, I was super nervous about the "exposure" with my first. When one resident came in one too many times, I told Dave that if I saw that guy again I was going to punch him. He didn't come back. But I did have a nurse in training so had to get checked twice EVERY TIME. It was awful. If you're feeling over-exposed, tell somebody. It's your body.

And I have to say, we "just knew" when Isaac was born. I was not planning on him being an Isaac, but it fit him. I did NOT know with Noah and agonized over it for two days. Each baby is different.

You look so good! And if it makes you feel better I gained 50 and I'm a lot shorter. I love the bedding! My opinion on the name: don't stress it until she's born. We had a few names we kept tossing around and after I saw Kenzie I didn't know what to name her but Keith threw Mackenzie out there a few hours after she was born and I was fine with it. I know, great story but really, whatever name you eventually decide on will mold to your little girl.
We're so excited for you! Good luck these last weeks, they'll go so fast!
I still need your address, could you email it to me: natshaw@ymail.com

Natalie, my email is : lindsay.lovell@gmail.com

I'm SO excited for you guys! You are such a hot little pregnant lady! The extra height really helps when distributing all those extra pounds. I gained 40 with Emmy!

Don't worry about the name.
Take your time, but go with your gut. We had 3 names and didn't pick until a few hours after she was born; it was the first chance that we had to be alone in the room with her. Emerson was not my first choice, but it really did seem to suit her. I can't wait to see her!

You are getting close, congrats! How funny that you and your husband are in the beginning (well, a little more than that!) of law school having your first baby, and we are counting down in a few months to graduation and are done having kids! It goes fast, I can tell you that. But I do have nightmares of having to go back and start over;) Yay for drugs! I wouldn't have done it any other way!

You look great!

If you're going to paint, hurry and have Scott do it so you and baby don't have to breathe in the fumes! It can take weeks to go away!

The bedding is adorable. So excited to get the phone call saying she's here (I assume we'll get a phone call anyway). So close!

You look awesome! I remember taking the same backside pics when prego with Easton...you will see none of those this time around. Went to labor and delivery today because of some unexpected BLOOD...monitored me for an hour and everything looked fine...but I have a feeling I'm close, could just be wishful thinking!

Stacy used to do the same thing with her belly/table. I'm glad that Scott is still unable to balance anything of use on his belly while sitting down.

That's a lot of sweat for a prego woman. I think you're working too hard. Holy work out queen. I get my body fats on Friday from bootcamp!

I love your post, all of it. Great bedding and the crib is fab. it will work for a girl or a boy.(in the future)

Do I get to know the final three names? Facebook me.

And did you hear about our NYC trip? We're doing it. Maybe we should bring our moms. How fun!

Linds you look so good! I'm glad you are having a good pregnancy. We need to get together one night before you have that baby. Where are you going to deliver?

Scott said...

Thanks Brittany. I might just try and come down some time next week actually cause I am done with work. I will deliver at Bayfront Hospital around the 19th!!
