Not a whole lot has been going on around this neck of the woods. Scott has been busy with school and Ada, and I have been busy with Ada, Mary Kay, my calling (when I write this it sounds like Scott does not have a lot going on, but he has a lot going on with school).
Ada is changing everyday and we are having so much fun. She moves and scoots around a ton. We strip her down before she eats and she will usually end up taking her naps in just a diaper. I try to be very careful now and at least throw a onesie on her. She scoots around so much that her diaper comes un stuck. This particular morning there was a surprise waiting for me in the diaper. Good thing it was contained!
We sometimes race to the room and pretty much call dibs on who gets to get Ada up from her nap. As you can tell from her toothless grin, she is all smiles after a good slumber.
This is the newest of Ada's discoveries. She has learned that when she pulls down the bumper pads, she can see us. The other day, Scott did not realize that Ada was peeking through the bars at him and when he walked away she cried the saddest cry ever! She also LOVES to kick her legs against the bumper pads and mattress. She gets a kick (no pun intended) out of it.
Okay so yeah, I may talk a little baby talk here and there, but it is SO worth it when I get those fun reactions.

SO CUTE!! I love the post-nap picture. She has a GREAT grin. So, where's our update on the new take on nursing? Is she eating more/happier? What a cutie!
Well she looks like she's gaining weight again! CUTE pictures!!!!! LOVE the Laugh!!!!! I like Scott's long hair too, but.... He sure looks like one Happy Dad! LOVE the post!
so cute!
Ada has the prettiest smile! It's lucky that you're getting so much cute gum time before the teeth come in. Good luck to Scott with all of his schoolwork, and good luck to you with balancing everything, too.
Awww! So cute! I loved the video :) I love the diaper thing, too! Kate LOVES to kick the bumpers, also. So funny. She just barely started to pull on the bumper, but hasn't dont much with it yet. What does Ada like to eat? Kate loved the oatmeal with bananas, but didn't really want any last night or today. Weird!
Yup, don't see a whole lot of Lovell in her, but she is a gorgeous baby! I love reading your blog and seeing how they are neck and neck developmentally. Heard you are going home for the summer. When will you be there?
peeking through the crib is so cute! Did you find out if you are going to try and head out this way? And by the way, does the hat abby is wearing in my "not too old" blog post remind you of anything?
She is so cute! I love the crib-peek. Hi-larious.
cute pictures! glad things are going well down there. I miss that little chunk (she's gettin' chunky again, right?!).
Love the one of her peeking over the bumper pad, through the slats. Too cute.
(My word verification was zangeou. Is that French for Xango?)
Too cute! Love the gummy smile, love the peekaboo, & love the laugh! Em used to play with her bumper all the time. At this point only about 3 of the 12 original ties on it are left. We also had some issues with her getting her legs stuck in the slats. (If only she had been chubbier that wouldn't have been a problem!)
