She's a Big One

Ada had her one year well visit check up today and here are the stats:
Weight: 24.8lbs (95th percentile)
Height: 31" (97th percentile)
She didn't give me head circumference
She also was given 5 immunization shots as well, which broke my heart. I have never heard her cry the way she cried. I almost joined her. But, she is all good now, just taking a nice nap.

Shots suck, but the cuddles after are great! She is so big - I love it!

check out that hair clip! Way to go Ada. I used to get all choked up when Easton got his shots. I tried so hard to hold in my tears so the nurse wouldn't see! Now, I say, "quit your cryin'!" Just kidding, but the shots certainly don't affect me like they did with no. 1. She is a big ONE! you can start potty training her soon! :)

Well just tell her she's going to be Tall and Beautiful just like her Mother and GGrandmother!!! It's Hard to see them get hurt, but it's for their best and soon forgotten.

Happy 1 Ada...can't believe how fast that last year went by. And I can only imagine how horrible shots must be...we haven't done them yet (not sure if it's yet or not at all) but I would probably cry too! anyways, happy happy bday. Miss you !!!

She is growing and changing so fast! I love her teeth- they crack me up! They remind me of Maggie's. haha Looks like she had a great 1st birthday too! I have to admit I could barely look at the pictures of her eating that cake- the thought of cleaning it up was just too much for me. hehe Ada is such a fun girl :)Sorry about that flu you had- it's so unfair that moms can even get sick. I remember when Doug was in law school and I came down with mastitis and had a 103 fever (seriously) and had to have a friend come over and take care of Patrick all day ( he was one). It was nuts. I feel for you-it is really the worst. I'm SO glad your feeling better!!!!
