Carving the Pumpkin

Ada was a great help. She loved the texture of the gooey pumpkin innards
Scott diggin in.

See those wart like modules? Well, we discovered that pumpkins like these are like gourds. Hard as a rock and crazy annoying to carve. Scott was literally sweating because it was so
ridiculous to carve.
This is what Cyclops looks like when your pumpkin is almost impossible to carve. Nice work though Scott, nice work.

I saw a ton of pumpkins like that this year, but I can barely even look at them, they totally gross me out. Cute pumpkin carving though!

you seriously need to buy a pumpkin carving kit...it's so hard to use a knife...but so easy with a pumpkin kit knife thing...Easton picked out a warty one, and I carved it sweat free! Saige also loved the goo!

I'm totally ditching the carving this year and just painting our pumpkins. Scott's face int he 2nd picture is such a Foley face. Greg makes that too! Funny.

Just catching up on your cute pictures!!! Ada is so delightful! That girl is loving life. That pumpkin is hilarious. For the first time in 10 years we're not carving pumpkins. I feel a little bad about it but we seriously just have too much going on and I'm exhausted! Are you going to take Ada trick -or -treating? I remember last year it took Maggie a few houses but then when she realized that every door she went to people gave her candy she was all business! It was so funny :)
